What do you think should be done to reform Social Security?
I think adding a Social Security tax to income above $106,800 would keep Social Security solvent in the long term (currently income earned after the first $106,800 per year is not taxed for Social Security).
I'm glad to see that adding a Social Security tax to income above $106,800 is currently the option favored by the largest number of O/R members who voted in the poll! :thumb:

At the risk of sounding like Rick Perry, I still haven't heard a reasonable argument as to how the Social Security program as it is right now is not like a Ponzi scheme.

It is a ponzi scheme. Either do away with it or put the money in an account for the individual owner. The owner gets it lump sum at retirement with no tax penalties. If the owner dies before retirement it can be willed to a beneficiary(s).
