I think that's basically what happened. People are trying to vote for handouts and freebies. The problem is those of us that actually work and want to succeed get fucked.
That's why conservatives are screwed. We have crossed the tipping point. Too many Americans depend on handouts and are left with the most important question for them at every election from this one forward... vote democrat to keep handouts, or vote republican to reduce or eliminate handouts. Which one do you think will win the day? The country is now almost guaranteed to be a European style of socialism with a stagnant economy. The best we can hope for is mediocrity. I blame Jenna! LOL

Next election, white/caucasion will be a minority.
2016 - Biden/Clinton
I hope our country is strong enough to endure 4 more years.
Someone sent me this quote. I'm not a history expert and I cannot confirm this quote came from the given author but it sure sounds like the road we may be on.
Quote:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance; From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage."
Alexander Tyler, 1887
