This is a way liberals tend to minimize the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment is meant to give the people the type of arms needed to overthrow an oppressive government (which we at rapidly approaching).

It's the oppressive government thing that scares me. I'm am seriously concerned that we may reach a point where the second amendment, in its given intent, is really needed. God have mercy when we get there. I pray it never happens.
