high_crime_clipAmerican Police Beat recently got the FBI’s violent crime statistics for American cities with more than 25,000 people and ranked the most violent states based on those numbers. The dangerous state rankings are based on serious crimes like murder, rape aggravated assault and robbery. The numbers are from 2012 which are the most recent available.

 

Below are the 10 most dangerous states. From least violent to the worst:
