‘End of Watch Ride to Remember’ event to honor fallen Tuscaloosa police investigator

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBMA) – The Tuscaloosa Police Department announced the End of Watch Ride to Remember tour will stop in Tuscaloosa to honor Investigator Dornell Cousette on Monday, June 29.

The stop is a part of a 30-state memorial tour that will stop at every one of the 146 law enforcement agencies that experienced a line of duty death last year.

The event will include motorcycle riders made up of current and former law enforcement members.

There will also be a 28-foot trailer that features the picture of each fallen officer being honored.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department said Chief Brent Blankley and Mayor Walt Maddox will speak at the event and present the organization with a Tuscaloosa PD police patch.

The event is expected to begin at the Bowers Park parking lot at 9:00 a.m.
