Felons guarding felons

When you can’t find enough bodies for something like the military or law enforcement, the prevailing wisdom has been to lower, and or drop standards.

For instance, the US military is now allowing people with serious substance abuse issues of all kinds, as well as people who have a history of self-mutilation into the armed services.

Likewise, in Michigan, Governor Rick Snyder has just signed a law allowing those with felony convictions to become corrections officer in that state.

I’m out in a month. Maybe I’ll apply and bring back some treats for ya’ll.

Read it and weep.
