If it’s done right, an ad can be as entertaining or informative as any television show.
In the old days, people would talk almost as much about the commercials as the shows.

To make a really good ad, you need good actors, writers, and directors.
But to make a decent ad, all you need is a video camera and some creativity.
At any rate, let’s keep our fingers crossed this DIY commercial produced by the Fayetteville (NC) Police Department, which is in the running to win Doritos’ “Crash the Super Bowl” contest, comes out on top.
Employees volunteered their time for two days to put the video together, and the department says any prize money awarded will be used to support community youth programs, the FPD Benevolent Fund, and the Fayetteville Police Foundation.
