The Philadelphia Police Department is using rapper Drake to help fight potential parking spot battles during the pending weekend snowstorm.
The department posted a video on its Facebook page riffing on the rapper-singer’s hit song “Hotline Bling.” It features what appears to be a computer-generated Drake lookalike arranging orange traffic cones, as he dances in a lit cube similar to the one in Drake’s video.
The remix, “Hotline Savesies,” urges people to “call us on your cellphone, late night when you see that cone.” It’s a play on the illegal habit of using items like orange cones, lawn chairs and trash cans to save shoveled spots.
The Facebook message says people shouldn’t argue with their neighbors but instead call 911 if they see a spot illegally held.
