Trouble sleeping?

Shift work causes disruptions in sleep and so does stress, too much alcohol and caffeine at the end of the day. Cops experience all these things and more on a regular basis. Dr. Buxton is an associate neuroscientist in the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, as well as an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. He studies chronic sleep deficiency in the workplace and home and how it contributes to disorders like obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
