Police Week Special Issue

Throughout the month of May, law enforcement agencies across the country come together to remember the officers they have lost in the line of duty in local, state and national observances in honor of National Peace Officers Memorial Day (May 15), which is commemorated each year during National Police Week. In the May issue, APB joins the law enforcement community in remembering the legacy of our nation’s fallen heroes.

Suicide Prevention, Mental Health Awareness and 9/11 Memorial Special Issue

In honor of National Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month, the September issue sheds light on suicide and mental health issues in the law enforcement profession, with articles dedicated to discussing the impacts of on-the-job trauma, ways to support mental wellness for first responders and more. The issue also commemorates both the first responders who died during the 9/11 attacks and those who died from related illnesses in the years that followed.
