A wedding ceremony in Snohomish, Washington, captured the attention of millions online, who watched as bride Ivy Jacobsen, a Washington State police officer, was escorted down the aisle by 15 important men in her life, including the police officer who put her abusive father in prison.

The story began at age 16, when Jacobsen made sure that her abusive father faced justice. Her bravery led to his arrest, thanks in part to a police officer who helped put him behind bars.

Wedding planner Karrah, who organized the memorable ceremony, shared the emotional journey in a now-trending TikTok video.

During the ceremony, as Jacobsen walked gracefully down the aisle, linking arms with two men, who guided her a few steps forward before handing her over to the next set of gentlemen who continued the procession.
The emotional moment reached its peak when the officiant asked, “Who gives this woman to be married to this man?”, and Jacobsen’s 15 father figures answered, “We do.”
