ASPCA to Host Animal Cruelty Investigation Workshop in Des Moines

This free, two-day hands-on workshop is open to law enforcement, prosecutors, veterinarians, and rescue and sheltering organizations and is aimed at raising awareness about animal cruelty, forging key partnerships, and empowering participants to mitigate and prevent cruelty in their communities.

Attendees will work through a case from start to finish, learning and practicing key skills in investigation, seizure, evidence documentation, testimony, disposition, sheltering, care and animal placement.  

Participants will be eligible to apply for grant funding from the ASPCA toward cruelty work in 2023.
