Patch pride

APB Team Published July 31, 2021 @ 8:00 am PDT

Matthew Vandenacre

Matthew Vandenacre, a young man from Montana, has spent the last five years collecting patches from law enforcement agencies across the country. Having family and friends in the field, Vandenacre loves all things law enforcement related. He was excited to tell our staff that he collected the patches all by himself, only needing help with the occasional call to departments asking for patches. Over the years, his collection has grown to include over 100 unique patches, which he proudly displays throughout his home in shadow boxes. He is hoping to continue adding to his collection. If you would like to assist Vandenacre by sending him a patch from your agency, please send an email to peterfiltmv@gmail.com.

Correction: The print version of this article, published in the July 2021 issue, listed the incorrect email address for Matthew Vandenacre. The correct email address is peterfiltmv@gmail.com. It has been corrected in this article. We apologize to Vandenacre and our readers for the error.
