Many of us can relate to the moment of deflation when the cops show up at a party. But hold the phone — in a recent case of a Chicago police officer who joined in on the fun.

A TikTok by a woman called Monica, with the handle @lifeasmonica, recently surfaced showing what appears to be a Chicago officer being called to a party for a noise complaint and ends up staying for dancing and tacos.

The clip, which shows the officer helping himself to a plate of tacos at a buffet and then dancing alongside other guests while being filmed from the sidelines, was captioned “When you get called for a noise complaint and stay for the party #noisecomplaint #lit #arrestmeplz #illinois #greenscreenvideo.”

All questions of authenticity aside, the officer definitely had some swag on the dance floor.

The video went viral shortly after uploading on April 29. Since then, the footage has racked in over 18 million views and 5 million likes.

Those in the comment section chimed in their thoughts. TikTok user inyourdreams_19 wrote: “Imagine being the one that complained and looking out the window to see that LMAO.”
