Project Lifesaver helps Oregon deputies rescue elderly man from ravine

In early July, 75-year-old Bill McCord went missing from his home in Washington County, Oregon. Although he had wandered off without his cellphone, he was wearing a Project Lifesaver bracelet — a device that allowed the Washington County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue team to quickly locate him.
