A man in Ankeny, Iowa, was arrested recently after threatening to bomb a McDonalds for getting his order wrong.
The Ankeny Police Department said the man, 42-year-old Robert Golwitzer, was enraged because the fast-food chain forgot to include dipping sauce with his chicken McNuggets.
Sgt. Corey Schneden told WHO-13 that the man called the restaurant to complain and threatened to blow it up and punch an employee.
Golwitzer later admitted to his statements to the police over the phone and in an interview at the police department. He was charged with a Class D felony for a false report of an explosive device.
He was then booked in the Polk County Jail and released on bond.
The incident followed a similar one at a Starbucks when a customer in Florida threatened a barista with a handgun after not receiving cream cheese with his bagel.
