This event is to honor fallen officers and will bring together survivors, friends, and members of the law enforcement community who are willing to take on the challenge of walking 25 miles in 2 days to raise funds for Concerns of Police Survivors who serve over 59,000 survivors affected by a line-of-duty death.
We will walk approximately 12.5 miles during day one, and 12.5 miles during day two. The route for COPS WALK Harpers Ferry is still under review due to COVID-19 restrictions in some areas.

Herndon, VA 20171
Please note: Your $1,000 Fundraising Goal covers 2 nights stay. Walkers are welcome to come a day early, or stay a day late. However, this will be at the participant’s own expense. The hotel will honor the C.O.P.S. rate. All meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch are provided for walkers, we will make accommodations for food allergies. Any special dietary requests aside from allergies will need to be provided by the participant. If you do not request a roommate, you may be rooming with another participant.
While we appreciate the desire for moral support, only the fundraising walkers will be accommodated at the hotel. If you plan to bring a family member, please contact Blair Sien to discuss your situation and additional costs.
Our 25-mile journey will be challenging, even for those who are completely prepared. Please take your training seriously, but don’t be intimidated. You can do this! The more you train, the more energy you will have left to enjoy the experience.
There is not a registration fee to participate in COPS WALK events; however participants, whether walking as an individual, or as part of a team, must raise a minimum of $1,000 per person. For instance, if you are on a team and your team has 5 members, $5,000 must be raised in total. If you do not need lodging, you can raise a minimum of $750 per walker.
Your own expenses will include travel to and from your home to the hotel (i.e. driving, or flying expenses), hotel incidentals, and Sunday evening dinner (and hotel) if you need to stay the additional night.
Let your potential donors know they can donate online through your COPS WALK Harpers Ferry page. Just copy your personal fundraiser URL address that was created when you registered and attach it to emails, or share it on Facebook and Twitter. All checks you receive should be made payable to “C.O.P.S.” and in the memo line noted “your name-CWHF-22” and mailed to:
C.O.P.S., Attn: CWHF-22, P.O. Box 3199, Camdenton, MO, 65020.
It’s a good idea to send in your offline donations (checks), with a pledge sheet at least once monthly. Please do not send cash – convert it to a personal check or money order before mailing it in. If you would like your donors to receive a thank you letter with a tax receipt, please include their complete name and address on the pledge sheet.
To keep expenses down, we have to limit the hotel space to those participating. Some volunteers share a room with a participant; however, each circumstance is unique. If you plan to volunteer at the COPS WALK, please contact Blair Sien with your level of interest. A plan will be developed for your weekend stay. You may be asked to cover a portion of the hotel stay.
If you have any questions, please email Blair Sien at email@example.com or call her at the National C.O.P.S. Office at 573-346-4911.
